Before you can effectively do something about your wrinkles you need to understand what kind of wrinkles you have, how they got there, and what you can do to keep them from coming back.
Static Wrinkles
The wrinkles that always show and don’t look any better no matter how much you relax your face, are static wrinkles. They are caused by sun damage and loss of elasticity. Static wrinkles respond well to skin tightening procedures, laser resurfacing, and injectable fillers.
Dynamic Wrinkles
Laugh lines, crow’s feet, frown lines, and other wrinkles that are more pronounced when you make facial expressions, are dynamic wrinkles. They are caused by years of repeating the same facial expressions. Dynamic wrinkles respond well to, and can be prevented by treatments such as BOTOX which relax the muscles.
