Many people facing the competetive job market are trying to find new ways to keep the upper hand – even if it means altering their appearance. Looking young and refreshed is a more likely way to obtain and maintain a good working position in the workforce. An informal Los Angeles Business survey asked a random sampling of people if they would get plastic surgery to advance their position on the corporate ladder. A staggering 53% stated that they’d be eager to improve their looks, considering the value of a good paying job. One participant stated they would get the surgery “in a New York minute.” She said, “In fact, I think it’s great that there are so many resources available to us today, including plastic surgery.” One especially zealous participant had this to say: “I am currently in graduate school and I plan on at least getting my teeth whitened before beginning the interview process. Probably microdermabrasion and botox a month before the interviews begin as well. I have had microdermabrasion and botox in the past and I have been pleased with the results.”
If you are thinking of advancing your career with a fresh new look, consider contacting an experienced plastic surgeon such as one of the doctors listed in this directory.
