Botox and Breast Implants

Interesting corporate machinations going on.

Allergan (maker of Botox) wants to buy Inamed (breast implant manufacturer). Inamed wants to buy Medicis (maker of various cosmetic fillers). Mentor (breast implant manufacturer and also pharmaceutical powerhouse) wants to buy Medicis.

Billions of dollars in cash and stock are in play.

When it is all said and done, the cosmetic marketplace will probably have a one or two fewer players.
